WHAT THE LEVELS MEANNSQF, IN PLAIN WORDS

Every qualification on this register carries an NSQF level - the National Skills Qualifications Framework, notified by the Government of India on 27 December 2013. Levels run from 1 to 10: 1 is entry-level, 10 the highest. A level says how much knowledge, skill and responsibility a qualification certifies, measured as learning outcomes - whether the learning happened in school, at work, or informally. The register assigns the level; we only show it. Source: NCVET, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship - nqr.gov.in/nsqf.
